Static Websites (HTML)

What is a static website?

HTML Static Websites

A static html website is created by a web designer who has knowledge of HTML or XHTML.

Unlike CMS, (Content Management Systems), static websites are not attached to a database and their content remains fixed unless changed by the webmaster.

Why choose a static website?

A HTML website is suitable for businesses who either don’t need to make many changes to their site once it is built or don’t have the time to manage their website and prefer to have their designer make the changes for them.

Often clients simply need a web presence, nothing too complicated, just one or two pages with their contact details and some information about their product.

Other advantages to a static website is that you have the fastest loading platform possible and they are mostly always cheaper to develop.
