Content Management System
Broome Museum and Historical Society website is a Content Management System, allowing them to update content on their website, themselves.
Photography of some of the memorabilia from World War II, was undertaken by Kimberley Web Design and bundled with their website package.
See our Photographic Packages and if you would like to look at a sample of the photography that we did for this website, please click here.
At the sites completion, we train the administrator of the site, in a 1-3 hour, one on one training session.
At the end of the training session, the new site administrator is able to upload images, change text, add pages/posts and manage their site efficiently.
Broome Museum and Historical Society website is built to be “Mobile Friendly/Responsive.”
A new and exciting Virtual Museum has been added to commemorate the Japanese Air Raid on Broome, 3 March, 1942, during World War II.
Full screen images are used in a rotating slideshow and the site contains embedded videos and audio clips.
The site also uses online forms and has many educational resources.
I enjoyed making this website and learnt many new things about the history of my home town.
